- Yo Ingrid, what it be?
- Ahhh, you know me, just enjoying the evening
- In the rain?
- Yeah yeah, this storm is insane…sit back and watch
What happens when clouds collide?
Does it make a sound
Light a spark, get very dark
Dampen traveling noise across the sky
What happens when clouds collide?
Ingrid tells me a story
Of when she was younger
When the clouds were a show
To more than only her blue eyes
A storm approaching was an excuse
To drive through the country
Sit in the screened in porch and watch the weather
It closes in then goes
Stormy weather isn’t a low
I sit on my porch during a storm
Look up at the sky
I watch clouds collide
Each storm is different
Clouds collide and form it
A spectacle for the eye
Anything can happen
When clouds collide
What happens when clouds collide?
Depends how you take it
What you make of it
It’s open ended, not demanding, real convincing
Shows there’s something worth dreaming
Time to pause and think
More of less to wish for
Questions emerge, got to dig in to converge
The answer is foggy, submerged
It’s deep and different to a different eye
Emerges as it flies
Good to hear, comforting to the ear
I like observing, I like learning
I enjoy preserving natural fascinations
I sit on my porch during a storm
Look up at the sky
I watch clouds collide
I find each storm is different
Clouds collide and form it
A spectacle for the eye
Anything can happen
When clouds collide
Look straight up
Thoughts pile fast, pile high
There’s much going on up there where clouds collide
Multitudes of colors from early morning deep into the evening
White silhouettes in between open sky
Five combined lines create an archway
After the thunder and rain of grey
What does it do for you, do you approve
Run away to lose one day as raindrops fell
Come out and stay, the rain isn’t bad when you’ve got the time, a solid approach
Each storm brings something new
Watch it as it lights up the sea, the mountains, woods and plains
To see more
Climb on the latitude lines
It’s colder venturing north
Each step across the border
The sky’s warmer
A showcase, an exclusive view in the distance
Noctilucent clouds collide in the twilight
Below a northern light show accented with stars
Framed by a midnight blue
The light meets the eye
When clouds collide
I sit on my porch during a storm
Look up at the sky
I watch clouds collide
I find each storm is different
Clouds collide and form it
A spectacle for the eye
Anything can happen
When clouds collide
Will it become too hard to be amazed
By the sky and the heavens
As time moves on
Could we please catch a break
Digress from false escapes
The collision of clouds is a spectacle
It can’t be replaced
