It’s a banana eclipse
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime
Never-ending banana clips
Firing through my nerves
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime to the lips
Banana eclipse, banana clips, banana eclipse

I’m a flat bill wearer
And today the banana eclipse starts a New Era
My bill’s dollar green
And the top’s clementine
I was born a tropical storm
But I peeled away from the stop sign
And I’m hitting on all cylinders through lime lights
Firing like ammunition from everlasting banana clips
Thermals, waves and ridge lift
Hitting the speed to fly
I become a hurricane on the runway
My hair is waving but I’m not parting
Not saying goodbyes
And when I run out of what’s left in the tank
I’ll bust out my arms
And clip another magazine off my banana tree
Under a banana eclipse on the farm

Under a banana eclipse
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime
Never-ending banana clips
Firing through my nerves
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime to the lips
Banana eclipse, banana clips, banana eclipse

I know metaphors and similes confuse
Here’s the story in colors’ shoes
I’ll keep going while it’s green
Not stopping until the yellow sun
Has set for the banana-shaped moon
The more RPM’s will get you
Diamonds and I’m gold
Cause I’ve been All Read from the start line
The applause is written in bold
And the end tastes so lemon-lime
Lemon-lime, my style’s no lie
You can joke and laugh
It’s fueling me
The shoes and flat bill don’t clash
My ID’s are green and clementine
My soul is All Read
I strike a red tip match
On my soles and flash
Comes a hurricane, a hurricane
I hope you’re not colorblind – firing
You’re gun powder for these banana clips
Propelling me further to lemon-lime, lemon-lime

Under a banana eclipse
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime
Never-ending banana clips
Firing through my nerves
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime to the lips
Banana eclipse, banana clips, banana eclipse

When the wind is low
He’s a soldier
But he exhaled and got windblown
Swept into Tampa Bay from the pier
Taken out to sea caught in a Hurricane
He turned into a Buccaneer
Don’t you worry, it’s gravy
Cowboy guns and Pirate swords
Aren’t like the Army and Navy
They’re all plastic like my watch
It’s waterproof in bad weather
When I’m diving finding treasure
It reads my time and altitude
And I got the words if you got the noise
Let me hear your attitude
At one-ninety-four decibels
You better have more yams with you
I’m going to beat the World Clock by a decimal
While you’re dozing in another Time Zone
Cause I’m going to the fridge
And I’m not hungry, I’m just bored
Making money, money
Peeling clementines my way
To surf on champagne waves on the runway
To the top of the podium
Under a banana eclipse
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime

Under a banana eclipse
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime
Never-ending banana clips
Firing through my nerves
So lemon-lime, so lemon-lime to the lips
Banana eclipse, banana clips, banana eclipse

my kind of city

Lucky Ducks are coming
Migrating to the heat
With 12’s hanging from their feet
The best of friends flying in a V – easy
Clouds pounding their beat
Echoing, it’s steeze – y
Earthquakes on the ground rumbling
I sit in my cartoon room
My Lego World crumbling
Soon I’ll be surrounded by ruins
No sweat, I’m cruising
Got a spoonfull of Cocoa Puffs and Looney Tunes
And I’ll climb up drawn-out hills
Just ask Wylie, the Road Runner taught me
Better than Boy Scouts, my survival skills
Every morning I’m getting tough
Popping Flintstone vitamin pills
Washing ‘em down with the leftover chocolate milk
And I mess with these ducks like they’re Elmer Fudd
Of course I’m Bugs
Without a carrot, I prefer my Cocoa Puffs

I got my Cocoa puffs and Looney Tunes
I think it’s funny
Y’all eating what y’all hating
Y’all watching what y’all hating
I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t care
I got my so cocoa, Co-co-co-co-coa Puffs and Looney Tunes
You know what I’m saying then why all y’all eating what y’all hating
You know what I’m saying then why all y’all watching what y’all hating
I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t care
I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t care
I got my so cocoa, Co-co-co-co-coa Puffs and Looney Tunes

What up Doc?
Yo Bugs, we’re only thirty miles from Mars
But we ran into some bad luck
Tell your Martian friends it could be hours
We’re in a traffic jam, dang Lucky Ducks
Got flying powers
And we’re trying everything we could
To get around the piles of cars
We’re jumping on hoods
People are mad we’re getting ours
They’re honking horns
And we’re like whatever
Ours could have been yours
If you just throw it into park
And walk, walk, walk, walk
One block is nothing
But when you’re there
One block is something
And we weren’t ever going to stop
Only going to jump a mile high – er
If we fall it won’t hurt, we’re in Denver
And it’s snowing, it’s winter
We’re denting hoods for that trophy
And your friends will hear us coming
Cause people lost their temper
They’ll be honking
Call us clever, we decided it’d be better
To jump on hoods than sit there forever

I am eating what I am – wanting
I am watching what I am – loving
I know doves aren’t the only ones – flying
Some day’s ducks are – coming
I grab my shotgun although I’m just – joking
Elmer Fudd, I’m no hunter
I’m more like Bugs Bunny
I’m – grubbing, I’m – enjoying
Popcorn and a movie
More like Cocoa Puffs and Looney Tunes
In my cartoon room
Y’all should tune in soon
Cause the Legos are stacking up
Next episode it’s packing up
We’re climbing on stairs to Mars
Making a rest stop at the Moon
If it crumbles, we’ll rebuild it
If we fall, we’ll get up
Cause forever would seem like forever
If the stairs ended with a roof

I’m standing across Union Station
I almost fall asleep but the train roars past
The bus arrives almost on time with no seats left
It’s a fast – no rules – Nation
I hold on tight so I do not crash
I’m looking at the store fronts
And the office building’s glass
We turn off Wacker
I see the Tribune, the Bears beat the Packers
I get a feeling like what Kanye sung
But I’m thinking what’s this city’s Anthem?
For those where it’s not a homecoming
But an everyday thing, they’re not phantoms
Can you sing something cause it’s that time of year
When the deer flies in the sky with a red nose and antlers
Next to freezing rain, a shooting star, Jordan fade away
The winter, I want to hear about the summer
When I’m at the beach, on the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier
And the city is moving like the wind
It cools me off; my eyes are shedding those happy tears
Now give me that A – I like Phil – I – A, answer
Give me that C – H – I Anthem

Chi – City, Chi – City
C – H – I’d like to say
C – H – I’m in love
C – H – I found my one
C – H – come al – I – ve
Chi – City, Chi – City

Chi – town, Chi – town
C – H – I’d like to say
C – H – I’m in love
C – H – I wouldn’t want another
C – H – come al – I – ve
Chi – town, Chi – town

Everyday I awake seeing Miracles
Bigger than Texas, a Mile long
Throw some clothes on
A magnet to the sun I was headed south
And good guys dress in black
I’m at the new Comiskey
Sox win in walk-off, dramatic fashion
As I catch a ball that bounces fair
Off the bat of memories of Shoeless Joe Jackson
Dolphins are swimming at Shed
T-Rex is the shot of the Millennium
In the reflection of Cloud Gate posing in the Field
For photographs next to Buckingham fountain
With the Sears and Trump Tower the backdrop
I’m stopping by the Modern Wing
At the Art Institute, I see Obama
Call it the West Wing
This taxi is driving crazy to my place
So I can get ready for the nighttime
And I’m thinking drinks and tapas
There’s a Green Light in Chi-town
Live Jazz at Al Capone’s hideout
Hats off to the soulful minds
Who show there’s more than mining gold
Cause when it gets dark, Chicago comes alive
Chi-city, you got me, like Erykah – I do feel more than fine
I’m day dreaming in Chinatown with a Happy Family
Enjoying that deep dish pizza in Chi-town
Drinking a pint of 312 Goose Island

Chi – City, Chi – City
C – H – I’d like to say
C – H – I’m in love
C – H – I found my one
C – H – come al – I – ve
Chi – City, Chi – City

Chi – town, Chi – town
C – H – I’d like to say
C – H – I’m in love
C – H – I wouldn’t want another
C – H – come al – I – ve
Chi – town, Chi – town

Riding on the L, we’re roller coasting
By Chicago’s John Hancock, cursive in the sky
Loopty Loop, United, we’re altogether
Heart, left, right and Center, of the Midwest
And have you seen all that bling on Scottie Pippen
Six rings can’t fit comfortably on one hand
And have you been to Chicago in July
Just one look down the streets
There are more fly broads
Than cracks on sidewalks
Have you ventured out on the Great Lake of Michigan
Walking on waves on boats tied up
The Sailboat’s deck’s got people sipping champagne
Flashes of gold and ice, call it a shipwreck
Cause we’re killing it in packs of Bears
A couple of the best ever running backs
Walter Payton and Gayle Sayers
And STL may have had that swing but it’s long gone
McGwire just came clean saying he’s never been
Now Bo talk to me, you know Chicago
It is a star like the sun
Now everyone, sing it deep from your lungs
That C – H – I Anthem

Chi – City, Chi – City
C – H – I’d like to say
C – H – I’m in love
C – H – I found my one
C – H – come al – I – ve
Chi – City, Chi – City

Chi – town, Chi – town
C – H – I’d like to say
C – H – I’m in love
C – H – I wouldn’t want another
C – H – come al – I – ve
Chi – town, Chi – town

I used to worry about a hundred bucks
Even though it turned winter, I got fired up
It was just my luck
It drifted into the flames
I made it to the fire escape
But I got addicted to things
Beyond fiddling my thumbs for hours
Trying to freeze the ambiance
Of being outside the window
Next to the pond, and it got worse
Next thing I know, I needed a lake
Desires have piled up
I hope I got what it takes
Cause I feel caught on idle
I have to fly on planes
On the highest class
I love the pre-takeoff sips
And the chef’s lavish dish
The grand finale topped with whip cream
And a maraschino
I sit and fall asleep in seats that layout, flip
I think twenty-one, I need the Strip
But should have never stared at Reno
One-eighty from the runway to the hideout
Sipping the finest scotch on rocks
Diamonds the size of London’s famous Clock
Tower by the water
It’s checkered with bottles
Of the best of reds and champagne
Wining, dining, corks are popping off the balcony
We’re in full throttle
Champagne bubbles straight to the head
And bottles are dropping straight to the floor
Crashing, the exclusive’s way
We got that late night state of mind
And for hour hours
For our ours
We’re downing more

For hour hours
We’re downing bottle bottles
For our ours
We’re downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles

I’m in that Mercedes Benz
S. U. V.
Armored in silver
With all the future technology
Twenty inch wheels
It flows like the beat
She’s sitting next to me
Watching HD on the passenger LCD
Her eyes spin
And the GPS is top-quality
Top feature “navigate to fame”
With red carpeted floors
Lines that wrap around the world
Find my name at the top of the VIP
It’s asterisked on the list, plus three-sixty-five
Guests like days like tonight make the year
Sit back and enjoy
The Benz has auto drive
They call it
“It’s five in the morning
And why am I on the driver side
I thought I hid the Keys”
Alicia and Jay-Z thanks for the collaboration
I’m living in a Nation
With a late night state of mind
So Garmin act like a Genie
And I’m on a carpet
Drive me to the best of places
This hour has to offer
This night’s about to go
Off the rocker

For hour hours
We’re downing bottle bottles
For our ours
We’re downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles

I’m in full throttle, acting my age
I’m dropping empties out of my hand
Empties popping against the floor
I keep downing more
And the room is a canvas painted in acrylic
The nights spin and lights flash in 3-D, it’s epic
People’s heads are bobbing
As the paint splatter splatters
Hands are waving in the air
As nothing matter matters
The atmosphere is crystal clear
I lean back in my seat
Listening to the lyrics that time writes
Cause the music is instrumental
Feat after feat, repeat
Twice like MJ, it’s monumental
Ever since I was little
A Little Tike
I wanted to be just like Mike
But I miss lay-ups
Like I miss the music
Like I miss my grandma
And her golden retriever
His name was Jackson
He was thrilled to walk around the block
Howling at the stars, call it the moonwalk
The music is real, I wore headphones
I can relate, let time escape
Now I’m downtown downing bottles
Looking in the eyes
While washing my hands
Rinsing away tough times
I hope I’m acting like that man
In the mirror
And For hour hours
We’re downing bottle bottles
For our ours
We’re downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles

For hour hours
We’re downing bottle bottles
For our ours
We’re downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles
Downing bottle bottles

Swinging on icy Chicago streets
I slide into Oz Park
Next to the jungle gym
The writing on the backboard
Makes me sink into my Timberlands
I tap the heels and I swing to a land
Where the snowman’s carrot knows
The Lion has the crown
And a paw dripping with courage
He tilts his top hat
And smokes his corn pipe
Staying warm until the winter goes
Snow and ice melts
And hearts emerge at the Tin Man’s feet
With letters scribbled in chalk
I wrap my arms around
A to M, N to Z
But how will I find my way home
When, when, when
I’m eating all the pieces to the puzzle
Sitting Indian style in the dark
It’s hard to think, hard to speak
These times are hard to eat
I shuffle the muzzle but I’m stuck in park

How will I find my way home
When, when, when
I’m eating all the pieces to the puzzle
Sitting Indian style in the dark
It’s hard to think, hard to speak
These times are hard to eat
I shuffle the muzzle but I’m stuck in park

Am I the only one floating
Through a fisheye lens
Looking up at the fuzzy sky
With Holga eyes
Seeing things no one could believe
Constellations jutting out
I see you in the soft leaves
The trees are pink
And there are images of bees
Buzzing around holographs
In a yellow and black T – ease
Stinging the hands that shake
The Polaroid, polar – lands
Ice and eyes haven’t been able to agree
Cause the ice is cracked
The eyes are closed
And I can’t breathe
When, when, when
I’m eating all the pieces to the puzzle
Sitting Indian style in the dark
It’s hard to think, hard to speak
These times are hard to eat
I shuffle the muzzle but I’m stuck in park

I can’t breathe when, when, when
I’m eating all the pieces to the puzzle
Sitting Indian style in the dark
It’s hard to think, hard to speak
These times are hard to eat
I shuffle the muzzle but I’m stuck in park

I clap my hands and on go the lights
Are the days getting boring?
Sorry, that was impolite
But you were snoring
And I don’t want to impose
I just might tip-toe
Quietly away, way, way, way
While your eyes are closed
And thanks, thanks, thanks
For the birthday wishes
I know I’m getting old
My favorite gift was
The old banjo, I like to build simple melodies
What do you think?
As I shake this cymbal
And strum these strings
Do you see what I see?
Or did I breathe too hard
And fog up the crystal ball
The next years are unclear
Where will karma and fate intersect?
The road looks endless
And I’m still sitting in park
That’s what I feared
When, when, when
I’m eating all the pieces to the puzzle
Sitting Indian style in the dark
It’s hard to think, hard to speak
These times are hard to eat
I shuffle the muzzle but I’m stuck in park

I fear when, when, when
I’m eating all the pieces to the puzzle
Sitting Indian style in the dark
It’s hard to think, hard to speak
These times are hard to eat
I shuffle the muzzle but I’m stuck in park

A thousand guns fire, salute
Stormy is the knight
Marching home to honest gestures, admiration
Honored with a blade
At the hand of the lady with six legs
And the strength of many men
The idyllic Queen
The history, the trophy
Oh but the dreams

Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight
Spinning, sweating to the flashes
Stormy is the night, it won’t disappear
Stormy is the knight, rolling in fear
Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight

Stormy is the knight
Who’s thrown in the passenger seat
Of a DeLorean
Traveling back in time
Fighting again for his side
It begins with grass that’s tall and green
Then comes the thunder and the lightning
Flowers are struck and left to wilt
Dandelions flyaway
Everyone says lean on me, even the Queen
But the pastures are no longer here
Covered beneath the dust at the horror scene

Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight
Spinning, sweating to the flashes
Stormy is the night, it won’t disappear
Stormy is the knight, rolling in fear
Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight

Stormy is the knight
Whose dreams are fenced
With caution tape
The hero, the insomniac walks down the hall
Every passerby raises their hands
As a bill to a hat
He’s got the respect but he’s lost the rest
The world got peace
He got these dreams
That’s messed up
Spinning, sweating to the flashes
He wakes up
A too familiar story
An unfamiliar friend
Stormy is the knight
Who wishes there was a patch
To make the frightening end
Wishes the storms would be fair

Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight
Spinning, sweating to the flashes
Stormy is the night, it won’t disappear
Stormy is the knight, rolling in fear
Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight

Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight
Spinning, sweating to the flashes
Stormy is the night, it won’t disappear
Stormy is the knight, rolling in fear
Stormy is the knight, stormy is the knight

This morning I realized
That it’d be best if I
Invested in some blinds
Cause every yesterday, every last night
Is always like your favorite song
Rewind it back to keep the beat
Let that chorus sing, on repeat
And the sun rises with applause
Peek-o-boo, it surprised me in my room
A curtain call, I couldn’t press snooze
It was hours before my alarm
I was fully awake; I rolled off of my bed
And fell into the Nike swoosh

Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Un-tied, I like them hanging loose
Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Snag a pair so you can smile too
Smile like that Nike swoosh

On the pillow there was a note
Signed, Love ya, can’t ya tell!!!
It reads “Laundry’s all over the floor
And I know I’m your girl
But it’s covering everything
From the bed to the door
P.S. I’m not coming back
Until this place is sparkling clean”
Boom she said it, I get it
Kick it, pick it and ball it up
All the dirty shirts
Then I aim and fire
From the end of the hall
Straight into the laundry chute
Shoot, I lied, it was a basket
My apartment doesn’t have a single stair
But the ceilings are tall enough
For a ten foot hoop
And that mirror for the girl
Where she likes to pretty her hair
And try on many pairs, of heels
Before she decides
What she’s going to wear
Anyway, back to action
The floor is almost clean
Last of the laundry
I act like Bron-Bron, in the corner
With seconds left, in the fourth
It leaves my fingers a split second before
The buzzer rings
I drained it from deep
Swished it like the swoosh
On the sides of my feet

Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Un-tied, I like them hanging loose
Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Snag a pair so you can smile too
Smile like that Nike swoosh

I stroll down the hall
I’m showing them teeth
Cause I got Nikes
Swooshes on the sides of my feet
And I feel like I
Am on a Caribbean cruise
Floating on water
While walking on the roof
I feel, understand and see level
At ten thousand feet
I sit down, throw up my feet
In the kitchen, it doubles
As a mess hall, cause it’s got a table
Don’t worry my kicks are nice and tidy
I kick with my left but I’m a right-y
I sit and relax, deep thoughts pop to mind
I’m wondering, who needs a dining room?
Can’t one plus one make more than two?
Who else only likes chunky soup?
And then I’m at the end, a rainbow
Cause I picked out all the marshmallows
From the box of Lucky Charms
Found the treasure without having to change my status
And my avatar is me smiling
Like the swoosh on the shoes
I found in the treasure box
Leprechauns, you’re my best of friends
These Nike kicks rock

Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Un-tied, I like them hanging loose
Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Snag a pair so you can smile too
Smile like that Nike swoosh

Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Un-tied, I like them hanging loose
Can’t smile without my Nike shoes
Snag a pair so you can smile too
Smile like that Nike swoosh
I’m showing them teeth
Cause I got Nikes
Swooshes on the sides of my feet

The beautiful beach is whispering
Eerie sounds, eerie sounds
I’m lost in the night
The clouds are rolling in
And the waves are standing still
Eerie sounds, eerie sounds
Are speaking behind the wind

I’m clinging to the shore
Gripping tighter than a leach
I’m scared of the Portuguese Man O’ War
Aimlessly floating towards me
Men of War all around
Men of War about to storm
I’m scared of the Portuguese Man O’ War
Aimlessly floating towards me

Every now and then
I take a walk down the beach
The sand is soft
And I skip some rocks
Today, here I am
Went further than I’ve ever been
The fog moves in; I can no longer see
I turn to the sun
And ask where is the North Star?
I can’t even see the moon
Hopefully an answer or a clue
Will come from the Heavens soon

The beautiful beach is whispering
Eerie sounds, eerie sounds
I’m lost in the night
The clouds are rolling in
And the waves are standing still
Eerie sounds, eerie sounds
Are speaking behind the wind

I’m clinging to the shore
Gripping tighter than a leach
I’m scared of the Portuguese Man O’ War
Aimlessly floating towards me
Men of War all around
Men of War about to storm
I’m scared of the Portuguese Man O’ War
Aimlessly floating towards me

I wish I could see each step
Better yet, wish the stones wouldn’t slip
From beneath my feet
And I can’t believe that gal
Would lead me down this road
I should have noticed her nose
Longer than Pinocchio’s
Her four-wheel-drive
Had a bumper sticker
Skull and bones
She was looking for gold
And the rains are starting to pour
It’s getting cold
I hope the sharks don’t eat me alive

The beautiful beach is whispering
Eerie sounds, eerie sounds
I’m lost in the night
The clouds are rolling in
And the waves are standing still
Eerie sounds, eerie sounds
Are speaking behind the wind

I’m clinging to the shore
Gripping tighter than a leach
I’m scared of the Portuguese Man O’ War
Aimlessly floating towards me
Men of War all around
Men of War about to storm
I’m scared of the Portuguese Man O’ War
Aimlessly floating towards me

Where was the warning sign?
Will I make it home?
My knees begin to creak
And there is no where to run
It feels like someone is lurking
On the cliffs above the sea
Below the water is murky
Shells crumble under my feet
The sound boomerangs
Echoing a few feet behind me
Is it Golem? I throw my last stone
Like it was a band
And I was the Lord of the Ring
The splash sounds like a scream
Or is it just me?

I arise, call me drama
I can’t be captured – pure
Call me thunder
But I’m like lightning – all day long
As wide as the horizon line
And I don’t care what you call me
I know how powerful I can be
And I’ll keep watching you
Picking weeds – wishing you could get to me

I arise, call me drama
I can’t be captured – pure
Call me thunder
But I’m like lightning – all day long
As wide as the horizon line
And I don’t care what you call me
I know how powerful I can be
And I’ll keep watching you
Picking weeds – wishing you could know me

You can’t mistake me
I rise in the east
Everything revolves around me – the eye in the sky
Even time; the days and the weeks
All the seasons and the years
I’m in the back of minds
What all people fear
Scientists, Presidents, Astronauts
Daily residents, who don’t think when they breathe
Below me picking weeds
Time to stop and think
I see you all the time
Like Santa Clause
But I don’t need a list, I got the brightest mind
I’m spherical, my vision is perfect
Three-hundred-sixty degrees, peripheral
I’m here, so everything must be fine
Cause I’m what everyone needs
Birds fly far to get more
People try to fake my heat
Waves – that are matchless
Not even an entire book – of matches
Can replicate my beams
If I were you, I’d grab those Ray-Ban glasses
But Aviators won’t let you fly this high
Wings can’t handle these heights
Get too close and it’ll burn
Like the flames from your lighter
Go ahead and try
The battle starts at dawn
Every day
And it’s going to be a long fight
So drop your gloves
And grab some water
Then run for the shade
Cause I can shine down even warmer
Mercury rising, it explodes
I always come out on top

I arise, call me drama
I can’t be captured – pure
Call me thunder
But I’m like lightning – all day long
As wide as the horizon line
And I don’t care what you call me
I know how powerful I can be
And I’ll keep watching you
Picking weeds – wishing you could get to me

I arise, call me drama
I can’t be captured – pure
Call me thunder
But I’m like lightning – all day long
As wide as the horizon line
And I don’t care what you call me
I know how powerful I can be
And I’ll keep watching you
Picking weeds – wishing you could know me

I got the wisdom of a guy
Who’s lived thousands of years
Just think, when I’m here you’re here
When I’m gone you’re gone
You rely on me
Remember; respect me – the eye in the sky
From the East
But together, you and your moon
Try to eclipse me
But look up and then you find you can’t see
Disclaimer, when eclipsed
Your pupils dilate
Seconds later, a sliver of me shines
If you stare you’ll go blind
How unfortunate, against me
You’ll always lose
Ask the creatures of the night
Werewolves, Vampires and owls
They remember; respect me – the eye in the sky
And know that they can only come out
When I get to the west
Where I close my eyes to rest
So fortunate you, you got time
To enjoy your night in your nest

I arise, call me drama
I can’t be captured – pure
Call me thunder
But I’m like lightning – all day long
As wide as the horizon line
And I don’t care what you call me
I know how powerful I can be
And I’ll keep watching you
Picking weeds – wishing you could get to me

I arise, call me drama
I can’t be captured – pure
Call me thunder
But I’m like lightning – all day long
As wide as the horizon line
And I don’t care what you call me
I know how powerful I can be
And I’ll keep watching you
Picking weeds – wishing you could know me
