“It’s better to burn out than it is to rust” – Neil Young

“I didn’t really know what I was doing when I started. I just started writing songs. After two songs I just continued to explore it” – Neil Young

For the businessman, kid and/or slouch
Betty’s got that hat that’s wicked
So get up off your couch
And get your head fitted
By Joseph Banks
Cause these won’t last a minute
21 bills for a flat bill, thanks!

My wardrobe is full
Of two types of clothes
ACES and A.D.S.
Atmosphere sheath
Cause I enjoy seeing unique
High and low places
The vast spaces, the underneath
E.T., fish and their faces
Unless their faceless
For tomorrow I go, I’m grinding my teeth
I won’t be coming back case – less
Stories and photos won’t be tasteless
They’ll blow your dreams
Sorry you have to wait
And you’re welcome to listen, please

I wake’n roll’n shuttle, I lay’n drift’n sank
I wake’n roll’n shuttle, I lay’n drift’n sank

I wake’n roll’n shuttle
In my suit of ACES
With the stars
I’m staying subtle

I lay’n drift’n sank
In my A.D.S. clad
Walking off the plank
I’m cashing in pearls at the bank

I wake’n roll’n shuttle, I lay’n drift’n sank
I wake’n roll’n shuttle, I lay’n drift’n sank

I wake’n roll’n shuttle
In my suit of ACES
With the stars
I’m staying subtle

I lay’n drift’n sank
In my A.D.S. clad
Walking off the plank
I’m cashing in pearls at the bank

I wake’n roll’n shuttle, I lay’n drift’n sank
I wake’n roll’n shuttle, I lay’n drift’n sank

Sunrise rooster cry
I wake’n suit up
It’s time to fly
To the U ‘N – I Verse
Where the finest hens are many
Carrying a designer purse
Supporting the finest feathers
I’m in a Caraceni
Not donned by the pressure envy
My hoods got racing stripes
In the pursuit of comets
Luminary, meteor – Right
Dreams come to show from the pipes
Special effects, the theatre type
Exploding star show, strobe light
Checking off ambitions
I put diamond rings around Jupiter
Craft life on Mars
Wrote so long to a dull future
And I back it up with .TAR
Roll ‘ntergalactic
By a ball point pen
The ceiling to the floor
In the penthouse is ten
Rooms look Crème brûlée
Moon fruit on the counter
I’m not stuck in a crater
Only jones’n to stay
Paintings on the walls
Glossed in resin
Shine on the walls
They’re from way back when
In the day FZA ‘N I
Wake’n shuttle to the sunrise
On a tandem
In suits of ACES
Rodeo – flip one handed
Two steps, twice the leap
We pedal from planet to planet

We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank
We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank

We wake’n roll’n shuttle
In our suit of ACES
With the stars
We’re staying subtle

We lay’n drift’n sank
In our A.D.S. clad
Walking off the plank
We’re cashing in pearls at the bank

We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank
We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank

We wake’n roll’n shuttle
In our suit of ACES
With the stars
We’re staying subtle

In our A.D.S. clad
Walking off the plank

We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank
We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank

Sundown wolves howl
We lay’n drift’n sank
Scuba duper super deep sea divers
Atmospherically inclined
Out of the cage safe we strive
In our gold A.D.S.
Fish bowl helmets
While Gilligan stranded
We’re crossing the Strait of Gibraltar
On a tandem
Cause these fish not sanded
We making the view sushi fresh
Headed to Marrakech
Crank’n down the plank
Reins ram ‘n thrust
To lay’n drift’n sank
In the waves to dollars of sand
Oysters of pearls
While others dipping from tuna cans
Down the vortex, we twist’n swirl
We’re finding Nemo and treasure chests
Escaping from Jabberjaw sharks
Starfish and Atlantis
Equivalence to the Universe’s superstars and planets
The Underwater’s parks
Where Ariel sings and whispers
Wearing tight sequence pants
She’s gone hipster
80s Ray Bans
She’s getting crisper
On a limestone, spot – sun – light
By the beach waves breaking
Smiles, no one’s chipper
In our A.D.S. everything’s breathtaking
Dre 3 – grand, no one’s hipper
Music making
Jack White, no ones’s rocker
Life’s a photo FZA ‘N I crop’n
Island hop’n and no one’s stop’n

We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank
We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank

We wake’n roll’n shuttle
In our suit of ACES
With the stars
We’re staying subtle

We lay’n drift’n sank
In our A.D.S. clad
Walking off the plank
We’re cashing in pearls at the bank

We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank
We wake’n roll’n shuttle, we lay’n drift’n sank

When I was younger
I bought packs of Topps
And Upper Deck
Forest bought Marvel
I was like what the heck
But now I marvel
Baseball cards weren’t worth the trek
Forest’s on that Super Hero Travel
Flying with that rocket pack like Boba Fett
Now I’m into that art and culture style
Catching all I can with a fishing net

(Once again, the FZA, forest allread on the art)

Here’s a teaser of Japan through the eyes/lens of Andrew Johnson. I went to college with Drew, and we have adventured to some unreal places; the trips, not surprisingly, were epic. He is very well traveled (close to best traveled) for someone that’s only twenty-four. Enjoy his pictures, and I’m sure he’d sell his prints if you asked. Not everyone gets to go to Japan, a photograph is the next best thing, right? Well behind television too, but TV is now 3-D so with it being just as cool as real life it doesn’t count!!!

(all photographs were taken by, and are thus the property of, Andrew Johnson)

“Everybody wants to be somebody; nobody wants to grow” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Reality can be beaten with enough imagination” – Anonymous

“There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other” – Douglas Everett

“Libraries keep the records on behalf of all humanity, the unique and the absurd, the wise and the fragments of stupidity” – Vartan Gregorian

If I could go back, I’d buy a DSLR before I went to Maui, Kauai and the Big Island
