I’m sorry for all my inhibition
You know it’s tough to make a decision
With all these ambitions
Haunting from the 13th Floor

My mind and eyes are tripping
On moons and stars
Those shine in the reflection
Of a glass bottle that is drifting
And the hourglass is ticking
Only miles from the shore

Time is locked behind a concrete door
In the dreams where the poor will soar
And people are ghosts no more
Until then the vines are twisted
With thorns tearing through visions
Like wine, age is good for wisdom

My mind and eyes are tripping
On moons and stars
Those shine in the reflection
Of a glass bottle that is drifting
And the hourglass is ticking
Only miles from the shore

The steam engine fires piston after piston
And last night seems like years before
Last year like the night just mentioned
The road winds and tensions
Behind the icy bridge ahead is a dead end
The sign reads only miles to the shore that’s dripping
From the cliffs like in Lisbon
Open your mind and eyes
You don’t want to miss it

My mind and eyes are tripping
On moons and stars
Those shine in the reflection
Of a glass bottle that is drifting
And the hourglass is ticking
Only miles from the shore

My mind and eyes are tripping
On moons and stars
Those shine in the reflection
Of a glass bottle that is drifting
And the hourglass is ticking
Only miles from the shore
