W-I-C-K-educate folk and lore
Make sweet the East and the West
Fuse the South with the North
Rip the stop sign from the wall
Cover it with a picture
From a favorite pastime
Your Hall of Fame

Drink a Pepsi with a straw
Get a buzz on a cigarette
On the way to the mall
Buy your favorite book
From the Comic Shoppe
Trade-in what you once said
Until death do us part
For your favorite song
Heard at the VMA’s
Fireworks were on the stage
Hopefully the exchange won’t cost a thing
Better yet, make some money
Eighty-five cents, fair enough
Throw it in a tin
Let it brew till it starts bubblin’, boilin’
Cents spill over into millions
The froth tastes like billions
Dynasties turn ruins
No exclamation point
Dollar signs float into the sky
With music notes
Evaporating into air
Like they’re fluids
Hot on UV rays
Let the music play
And paint your walls
Like it’s your Hall of Fame
With posters, graffiti and street signs
Guiding you down
A holy graphic life
Flowing to the songs
On mix-tape volume one
It was all hung, all amplified live
When you never worried
What if this ain’t right
That goes up may come down
Old becomes new
With a little shoe shine

And remember
Blue lollipops only change
The color of your tongue
For a few hours
So point your plastic gun
To the clouds
And what you like right now
Put it in your Hall of Fame

A milkshake spiked with malt
Next to a foot-long wholly garnished
So good everyone’s on it
Believing, it’s a cult
Grease in the stomach
You should have stopped before that salad
That lett-uce spin you dizzy
Two turntables and a mic
Left you nauseous
Too much speaking
Too much thinking
We sat you down
Slowed it down
Hooked on Phonics
Like the Doctor spinning beats
A calm Phoenix
Flap your wings to the beach
And rock the shore
Hang the décor from the ceiling
To the floor
Away from the corporate store
Line up on the street
Rip it for your friends
It’s a long drive
Keep awake the bees
And their hive
With some fresh jive

And remember
Blue lollipops only change
The color of your tongue
For a few hours
So point your plastic gun
To the clouds
And what you like right now
Put it in your Hall of Fame

Did you see the King
He was on TV with the Queen
At a conference in the jungle
Getting full on a blue Slurp-E
Dogma, jargon and a jelly donut
Papers signed with Sharp-E
Brick and concrete buildings coming down
Glass blowing skyscrapers
These towns are growing
Celebration, fireworks explode
Into hearts and stars
Watch out, as stone crumbles
Glass cracks
Just ask Rome
Walls are painted with tanks
Posters are hung up strong
Carried by legs in sets of six
They’ll last a few tours
A few wars, long or short
There’s always more
And remember
Blue lollipops only change
The color of your tongue
For a few hours
So point your plastic gun
To the clouds
And what you like right now
Let it make up your Hall of Fame
