I’m on that wave, that’s crashing down
I say “hey, follow me down”
Today, we’re going into town
On a wave, on a wave above the ground
We’re headed into town
And I say “hey, how does that soooound, are you doooowwwn?”
Cause I’m on that wave, that’s crashing down

Age after age
Cupid’s storm drips from the lips
Inked on the paper in rips
Sold by the corner store
The crowds dance until the music skips
As the sunshine trips
The rays dip behind the clouds of nine
Tears twist into wine from the thorny vine
And thoughts are said like the bread that’s fed
To the awakened dead
Ideas skip through the head
Bold as tires’ tread
Italicized in red –
Delicious bitten by wolves with Vampire fangs
Mystery flies by the wings
Of trains and cranes
The nectar stings
From the freedom of the dreams
And there’s no one left to blame

Everything feels like a crime
Time after time
We’re Coronas without a lime
Fight after fight
We’re cigarettes without a light
Fighting for time
We’re a phone call away
And I don’t have a single dime
Time to fight
The river’s flowing left and the fish are swimming right
It’s never worth the bite
Flying like a kite
With a bird’s eye sight
Highlights the contrite
Blinded by the height
Will it last another night?
And the dark outgrows
The reach of the crow
Words thrown like the arrow from a bow
The depth continues to grow
Between each brick that sinks in the sea
All that’s left is time to breathe
Up in the clouds with the trees
All that’s left is a single seed
Lost between what we need

I’m on that wave, that’s crashing down
I say “hey, follow me down”
Today, we’re going into town
On a wave, on a wave, above the ground
We’re headed into town
And I say “hey, how does that soooound, are you doooowwwn?”
Cause I’m on that wave, that’s crashing down
