Meet barley & birch! They’re keeping kids dressed “cool” while also supporting the planet. Birch Love Da Kids!

Here’s a snippet about their planet protection skills..

“Environmentally, we decided to make every single facet of the line carbon neutral. Not only do we offset any emissions created by production and shipping, but we work with manufacturers and suppliers that are largely powered by solar energy. We chose only certified organic cotton and water-based inks, so we do not pollute the air and water with chemicals. We are made in the United States, so we do not emit the massive amount of carbon associated with trans-ocean shipping. We are largely paper-free and any paper involved with the line is 100% post-consumer recycled. Essentially, we chose to go beyond the level of convenience to be fair to our planet and to our customers.

Socially, we give at least 15% of our profits to a variety of organizations working all over the world to improve the lives of others. We fund everything from educating rural farmers on sustainable agriculture to providing shelter to victims of abuse. We are proud to aid in the growth of justice and equality throughout the world.”

There’s a place I seek
Lying in the weeds and fallen leaves
It’s outside of the stars I reach
Blocked by a wall of streams
T.V. down the waterfall shaft
I hope it can last
I need a bridge to get past
I need a bridge to get past
The concrete gap
The concrete gap
I want to Bridge the Gap

I climb on shallow, hollow blocks
You’re blind to looking down
Where a question begins
There’s a diktat that’ll last
Through the glory and the shame
Every day is the same
The hands clap
The foot taps
You look great but let’s change your name
You mustn’t huck for fate
A lion is in command
Him and his mane
Oh I’m sorry, I’ve never been one
To look down the barrel to fame
I have questions on repeat
Please rewind the tape
I need a bridge to get past
I need a bridge to get past
The concrete gap
The concrete gap
I want to Bridge the Gap

We have a healthy disease
Fortune will pry
Fortune will pry
A healthy disease gone bad
And the sky is home to the heads overblown
If the heavens explode
What could ever be known
I need a bridge to get past
I need a bridge to get past
The concrete gap
The concrete gap
I want to Bridge the Gap
Will we find our way out
Back to home
Will we stick in the sap
While swimming laps
In the current retreat
Shallow and fast
Shallow and fast
I need a bridge to get past
I need a bridge to get past
The concrete gap
The concrete gap
I want to Bridge the Gap
Bridge the Gap
Bridge the Gap
Bridge the Gap
Bridge the Gap

I sit down for a peek into the window of my soul,
I can’t seem to find anything, I guess it got stole.
I stand to see better, but my eyes are too bad
I rely on these frames to keep my eyes from going mad.
They say your eyes are the window to your soul, but what if you’re blind, then that statement is cold.
There is no window in nor is there a window out, the bed box in your chest figure everything out.
I say don’t give your heart to anyone or anything,
Until that thing or one sees the joy the beat box brings.
I don’t believe in good or evil,
But rather I believe in mislead people
So keep your heart cold and your mind steady,
Oh yeah one more thing…..
DON’T FORGET TO GET YOUR BETTY!
